The traditional Mzansi classic league, packed with more ways to win than you'd expect.

This is the classic format, built for managers who want their season-long consistency to count, and for R300 entry, there's no shortage of chances to cash in.

Last season alone, Global League paid out over R57,000 in prizes. The top 15 managers all got paid, with R25,000 going to the overall winner. Along the way, 10 monthly winners each took home over R1,000, 13 Power Gameweek prizes were up for grabs, plus cup prizes and sponsored rewards like football jerseys.

Every Global League entry also comes with free entry into Last Man Standing, Head-to-Head, and the Challenge Cup, so you're never just playing one competition, you're playing five.

And here's the part that makes it winnable, every season's top 5 gets promoted to the Elite 64 Invitational and can't return to Global League. That means you're never up against the same champions twice, just a clean field and a real shot at the top.

Decide which leagues you wish to join. If you choose more than one league, there is no need to make separate payments; you can make one single combined payment.

When sending your proof, please indicate exactly which leagues you’re signing up for, so we can lock in your spot without delay.

HOW TO ENTER

MZANSI LEAGUES - GENERAL RULES

  1. Age Restriction

    • Participation is strictly prohibited for anyone under the age of 18.

  2. Prize Eligibility

    • A valid South African ID is required to claim any prize.

    • No cash alternative will be offered for sponsored prizes.

    • Only fully paid entrants are eligible for the Lucky Draw prize at the Gameweek 4 (GW4) deadline.

  3. Entry & Payment Deadlines

    • mZAnsi Global League:

      • Entry closes at the start of Gameweek 4: 25 August 2025.

      • Payment reconciliation begins 29 August 2025.

    • mZAnsi Elite 64:

      • Payment deadline: 15 August 2025.

    • Both leagues will be locked to new entrants at the GW4 deadline.

  4. Lucky Draw

    • Will be conducted after all entries are reconciled and non-paying managers removed — anticipated date: weekend of 15 September 2025.

    • The draw will be live, with details announced closer to the date.

  5. Prize Distribution

    • Except for the Lucky Draw, all prizes will be awarded after the final Gameweek 38 (GW38) standings.

Power Gameweeks (PGWs)

  • General PGW Rules:

    • The manager with the highest FPL points in a designated Power Gameweek (after transfer deductions) wins the PGW prize.

    • All chips are permitted, unless stated otherwise.

    • If multiple managers tie for first place:

      • A tie-breaker will take place in the following Gameweek, applying the same PGW rules for tied managers only.

      • The highest score in that Gameweek wins.

      • Exception: PGW38 ties will result in the prize being split.

Manager of the Month

  • Awarded to the manager with the highest total points for that calendar month, according to the official FPL site.

  • In case of a tie:

    • A tie-breaker Gameweek will determine the winner using the same monthly rules.

    • Exception: In May, tied prizes will be split.

MZANSI GLOBAL LEAGUE RULES

  1. Promotion

    • The top 5 finishers — regardless of rank — will be promoted to the mZAnsi Elite 64.

  2. Power Gameweek 1 (PGW1) — Special Rules

    • Applies only to the mZAnsi Global League.

    • Only fully paid entrants are eligible for the PGW1 prize.

    • No chips allowed — using any chip will disqualify you from PGW1 eligibility.

    • Ties roll over into Gameweek 2, where the same PGW rules apply.

  3. Last Man Standing

    • Rules for this prize will be announced once league entries are finalized and non-paying managers are removed.

  4. Prize Confirmation

    • The final breakdown of cash prizes, Power Gameweeks, Cups, and Last Man Standing awards will be released after payment reconciliation.
